All the improvements are welcome, and sure to enhance an already great design, but those grease ports on the lower linkage do look a little vulnerable.
I had the priviledge to meet Steve Peat and Greg Minnaar, both riding prototypes of these, at the Sani2C 3 day stage race in KZN, South Africa a month ago. I would like to take this opportunity to thank their mechanic for doing a temporary fix on my Blur's fork, when none of the supporting bike shops could help me.

I've got to agree with Dick, those grease ports are just beggin' to get smacked and busted up by rocks and such. C'mon guys, you couldn't put 'em on the other side or create some sort of "fender"?

I've been waiting for a perfect machine for a long time. I think I found it, it's the new Blur LT!

Reguarding the location of the grease ports they are recessed into the linkage so would be safe from most but the worst of impacts. If they put them on the other side you would compain that you couldnt access them.

Grease fittings are a piece of cake to replace, and easy to extract with an EZ out if they shear off. The slim chance that you'll trash them does not warrant an extra part on the bike. You don't need spoke guards do you?

Hi Everybody
Definitions for global warming are generally too scientific to participate in - however, an earthquake shaking an entire country into disaster should not be disregarded as another statistic. We're talking about people, just like you and me.
