The simple fact of the matter is that when you ride, your bike gets dirty. The cycle of filth continues as you move the dirt-laden bike from trail to car to home. The simple solution you're looking for just might be the Mud Sak. Invented by Elon Werner, a mountain bike enthusiast from Dallas, the Mud Sak is a large bag that allows you to cover and easily carry a dirty bike.
The Sak is made of 600 Denier Nylon, and has a poly-plastic liner that acts as an effective barrier between your bike and the inside of your car, home or office. The Sak also features an open top to fit any size mountain bike, including 29ers, a heavy duty zipper, reinforced Velcro stabilizing straps, and double stitched handles for "easy insertion, transportation and removal."

No bike disassembly is required to get the Mud Sak on and off the bike, and it folds down small enough to fit anywhere in your trunk or shop when not in use. The Sak could also be used to easily transport several awkward sets of wheels for a weekend of cyclo-cross or 24-hour racing.
