Built to handle the rigors of the North Shore, the Fluid 1.0 features an adjustable 4.6- to 5.6-inches of rear travel, bearings at all pivot points and a heavily gusseted monocoque mainframe that’s strong enough to withstand a double-crown fork.
The Fluid flowed down steep, rocky singletrack. The 69-degree head angle, short 75-millimeter stem and riser bars instilled confidence on any downslope—from 5-foot drops to cranium-sized boulders.

This Norco bombed downhill, but was a bit slower going up. Even though the Fox RP3 shock offered a decent pedaling platform, the 32-pound bike made us work for our ripping descents.
