The 20th anniversary of the Keyesville Classic brought hundreds of MTB enthusiasts to the Lake Isabella area east of Bakersfield last weekend. Downhill, short track, cross country and a cumulative event that combined all three called the "all-mountain," including two retro bike classes, made for lots of exciting racing.

I was one of the volunteers working in race HQ and didn't get to see much of the race. I'm glad you were out there taking photos as everything looks gorgeous! Your first photo is breath-taking the way the rider is suspended in air and makes me wonder how is landing went!

Thanks for the compliment, that racer's landing was spot on! It's generally bad form to post a photo of big air if the landing goes badly... But you can always post the crash photos...
