Have You Seen It?
An addictive viral video campaign started asking this question around the time of the Sea Otter Classic. Now finally, three months and six YouTube teasers later, you will actually get to see it - if you are partying it up in Whistler Thursday night anyways. Oakley and Freeride Entertainment are presenting the world premier of the film short Have You Seen It? Thursday July 26 at the Whistler Village Block Party. If you are in town come watch it along with the premier of the trailer for New World Disorder 8 on the jumbotron big screen below the Crankworx slopestyle finish. If you can't make it here's a gallery of image stills from the film to hold you over till you get a chance to see it for yourself. The BC Bike Race, or Pacific Traverse is a seven-day stage race from Victoria, Canada to Whistler. Teams of two or four competed in the event that covered the broad range of terrain that can only be found in Western British Columbia.

Giant debuted a handful of new bikes at Tahoe's Northstar resort. The new Trance X model is a five-inch platform that fills in the space between the Trance and the Reign models. We spent the weekend riding Northstar singletrack and the nearby Rim trail with amazing high-altitude views of the entire Tahoe region. Sterling Lorence was on hand to photograph the Trek 2008 product launch in Sun Valley, Idaho. Trek showed off a bunch of new Trek and Fisher bikes including their new floating rear suspension design with concentric rear axle and pivots.
