Darren Berrecloth joined New World Disorder cinematographer Brad McGregor in Utah for the first shoot of NWD 10. Cam Zink, still recovering from off season knee surgery, even drove down from his home in Reno, Nevada, for a few test rides and scout lines for later shoots. The 21st Keyesville Classic Mountain Bike Race was held from March 14-15th near Lake Isabella, California about a half hour east of Bakersfield. This classic event is the traditional season starter for the West Coast, and a whole lot of fun.

Undaunted by Holland's notoriously flat landscape, eight world-class European riders manage to find their share of downhill in Amsterdam—barreling down the glass-covered staircases of a condemned eleven-story building in the heart of the historic city. Four riders at a time raced the 400-meter course, which comprised 324 stairs and a drop of 50 vertical meters.
Details of the long-rumored merger of Team Maxxis with Team Rocky Mountain have finally been ironed out. The squad will feature XC ace Marie-Helene Premont, breakout talent Lea Davison of the USA and Canadian national XC champ Geoff Kabush. The DH lineup features Sabrina Jonnier and Americans Cameron Cole and Luke Strobel.
