The 18th Annual Sea Otter Classic will be held April 17-20, 2008 at the Laguna Seca raceway in Monterey, California. The four-day event is the largest cycling festival in the US, hosting nearly 10,000 professional and amateur athletes and 50,000 fans.
Bike magazine's editorial and web team will be on site to cover the event. We've got interviews to perform, new product to scoop, racing action to shoot and beer to drink - and not necessarily in that order. And who knows, we might even get to go for a bike ride!
The basic schedule has lots of practice and some qualifying on Thursday, Super D finals and more practice on Friday, Pro Slalom and Short Track on Saturday and Pro Downhill and XC on Sunday. For a detailed four-day schedule of events, including amateurs, road and BMX, go HERE.

Be sure to check Bikemag.com all week long as we add photo galleries, news bits, race results, video and whatever else we happen to stumble across at the Otter, in Monterey.
