Less than a month remains before the Sea Otter Classic in Monterey, California. MotionBased.com has provided us with some never-before-seen course previews.

Motionbased.com has provided course previews for Sea Otter for the last two years, and has a comprehensive preview of all the races courses, from XC to DH to Super-D, available HERE .

And when Motionbased says “comprehensive” course profile, they mean it—see their “Course Details” link for everything from distance, speed, time, elevation change, hear rate, temperature and windspeed.

This year the GPS aggregation, mapping and analysis company has also added a video feature to its profile of the XC and Super-D courses by synching the time stamps from helmet cam footage with GPS data recorded on the same ride.

XC - This is the brutal Sea Otter Expert/Pro XC course with over 39 miles of racing and over 7,700 feet of elevation gain and loss.

Super D – This is a new event at Sea Otter that’s sure to be popular with the Sport/Expert category racers. Check out the Super-D course here and memorize those turns before you even set foot in Monterey.
