Energizer Batteries and Bike Magazine partner to host the Keep Going photo contest during Crankworx
Events: Energizer Photo Contest At Crankworx
Nowhere are riders pushing the sport further than at Crankworx. To capture this energy, Energizer and Bike Magazine have partnered to host a photo contest, with the winning photograph to appear in the December issue of Bike.
The contest will be hosted on the Energizer Canada website, where photographers can submit their best shots taken during Crankworx. A gallery of top photos will also be shown on Bikemag.com.
The Energizer "Keep Going" contest is open to pro and amateur photographers. Both action and lifestyle photographs will be accepted, and submissions will be judged on their composition, lighting and location, as well as how well they capture emotion and provide a view into this powerful event. The winning photo will be selected by Bike's editor and photo editor.
"There are thousands of amateur photographers at Crankworx, and Energizer Lithium Batteries are recognized as the world’s longest lasting batteries in high-tech devices like digital cameras. This presented us with an excellent opportunity to connect with our audience though the Keep Going photo contest," said Steven Kavanagh, of TBWA\Toronto, the creative firm planning the contest for Energizer.
Photographers can upload high-res (at least 6 megs) photos to www.energizer.ca from August 9 to August 31. The site contains rules, details and other information about the contest, as well as updated galleries of submitted photographs.
Check back to bikemag.com for more details, photo galleries from the contest and frequent updates from Crankworx.
