News: George Ryan Captures Diabloween Title

The combination of costume and mischief always make Halloween one of our favorite holidays, but Diablo Freeride Park takes it to another level with their Diabloween jump session. This past weekend, over 600 eager riders from all over the east coast made the trek to Diablo Freeride Park in Vernon, New Jersey to take part in the fifth annual Diabloween celebration.
Over 100 costume-wielding riders gathered at the Dominion jump-line to take part in this fun, annual Halloween extravaganza. Diabloween costume standouts included Pee-Wee Herman, the Ginger Bread Man, Jesus, Mr. Blow-up doll man, Pac-Man, Lara Croft, among many others.
Self-proclaimed fashionista, George Ryan, successfully defended his Diabloween title throwing down smooth flowing runs in a creative Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle costume. Working as a part-time seamstress, Jamis team rider George Ryan never disappoints with his custom costumes and flamboyant, yet reserved personality. "I am so psyched to defend my Diabloween title!" said 2008 champ, George Ryan. "Ninja Turtles was, and still is, my favorite television show, and my lifelong fascination with Michelangelo has finally payed –off!"
