The standout athletes, performances, events, products and videos of last year
6-26-07 // Online Exclusive: Reader Poll And Video Awards
We are very privileged to be able to sit back and watch all the mountain bike professionals ride their hearts out and risk their lives, all in the name of glory—because we know very few are making a good living at this, and call it a job. That’s why every year we try to do our part to honor those athletes who rise to the occasion and sacrifice for the sport we love so much. This year, we felt it was imperative that, in addition to our input, you the reader had a say in our reader poll and video awards.
So in late 2006 we created the online Reader Poll and Video Awards. More than 1,000 readers and web site visitors voted for their favorites in 22 categories. Here are the results of all those votes, let’s look back and recognize the best of last year.
