So, we’re two weeks into the Mavic Crash and Burn contest and the competition is bleak. Just a handful of crash photo posts. It’s almost as if you don’t realize that you can win a free Mavic Deetraks wheelset and MP3 warranty for just posting a crash photo on our photo post/message board…
Wait, you didn’t catch the news two weeks ago? Okay, here it is again.
Post your crash photo on our message board, make it a jpeg and try to make it a horizontal photo (instead of a “skinny” vertical photo. If your crash photo is truly horrendous, we’ll send you $350 worth of wheels and a two-year crash replacement warranty courtesy of Mavic’s MP3 warranty (worth $28 in its own right).

The Deetraks wheelset, by the way, is basically the more affordable “little sister” to the famed, yellow DeeMax downhill wheelset. It’s a stout set of hoops that takes a lot of abuse.
THE COMPETITION SO FAR…
So, let’s get down to brass tacks here. Here’s what you’re up against. See Daner’s endo photo here? It’s the front runner so far. Pretty damn freaky, no? Well, I’m betting that some of you out there have something just as good to post. Hell, it’s a better use of your time than surfing for porn. No to hairy palms. Yes to free wheels.
The next photo here is from CaptainCrossup—it’s nice. Sorta subtle, sorta pretty…and then you realize that this guy’s nut sack is pasted to his stem, he’s nano-seconds from wrecking and it looks like he’s going about 327 miles per hour. Ouch. Nice. Heck, maybe I like it more than Daner’s endo shot….I dunno. What you got taking up room on your own hard drive?
HOW TO POSTER YOUR PHOTO
