Three 12-hour races and one epic point-to-point race highlight the 2009 Socal Endurance Series
Event: Southern California Endurance Series
The long-standing "12 Hours Of Temecula" race series is a favorite amongst some of the world's best athletes and cycling enthusiasts. For 2009 they have incorporated a new venue and created the "12 Hours Of SoCal" endurance race series.
There are three "12 Hours Of SoCal" races in the SoCal Endurance series. #1 & #3 races are held at Vail Lake Resort in Temecula, CA. While the #2 race is held in the beautiful San Bernadino mountains at the Rim Nordic ski area. The "12 Hours Of SoCal" races are relay races for teams of 1-5 bikers. There are many categories to compete in and have fun; including singlespeeding and solo competition.
Although the "12 Hours Of SoCal" is a 3 race series each race is also awarded individually, at the conclusion of each race. For those who seek the challenge to complete the whole series, special awards and prizes will be given at the end of the championship 3rd and final race.
