Gee Atherton has returned from Tignes, France with some amazing footage of a nasty crash he walked away from. It's amazing how forgiving snow can be, if this had been on dirt, Gee would be lucky to be alive right now. According to Gee, it was really difficult to judge his speed because everything was snow, he didn't think he was going very fast and was coasting part of the way into it. He overshot the landing by almost forty feet. |
